TOM LEANOS (Hofstra ’70) Head Coach, DREW UNIVERSITY

Drew’s all-time leader in wins, Tom Leanos is in his third decade as the Head Coach of the Rangers’ lacrosse program.  A fixture in the New Jersey lacrosse community and a member of the NJ Lacrosse Hall of Fame, Leanos has led the Rangers to post-season play 16 times, including conference playoff appearances the last four seasons.  Even with this outstanding history, 2008 was one of the best seasons of his career.  Named the conference Coach of the Year, Leanos led the Rangers to the inaugural Landmark Conference title as well as the ECAC Metro crown.

With three Coach of the Year awards, six ECAC titles and a pair of conference crowns to his name, Leanos has become a coaching legend in the lacrosse community.  He ranks 14th in career Division III victories and eighth among active coaches.  His teams claimed MAC-East championship finals from 1988-91, and he led the 1994 squad to the program’s first-ever MAC Championship title.  In addition, five of Leanos’ squads have earned the prestigious Frenchy Julien Memorial Sportsmanship Award from the District III Lacrosse Officials Association.

Leanos has coached 76 players who have been named conference All-Stars with three conference MVPs, five USILA All-Americans, and two Academic All-Americans.  He guided the 1990 team to a final national ranking of 18th and also served as the coach for the South Team in the 1991 Division III North/South All-Star Game.

DAVE DERISO (Drew ’00) Assistant Coach, Drew University

COLLEGE : Deriso was a Four year Starter, Three time First Team All Conference player and 2000 Team MVP and USCLA All American. Leading the Rangers to three straight (1998-2000) ECAC Metro NY/NJ Championship titles, Deriso holds numerous school records finished his career as the program's all-time scoring leader, and Top 10 in Single Season Goals, Assists and Points for each of his four years. He capped off his career by breaking the program's all-time scoring record with 195 career goals and 289 points.

POST COLLEGIATE: A Four year starter for Tri-State Lacrosse club team of the ALL. He has helped lead Tri State to Four ALL Final Four Appearances.

COACHING: Deriso enters his second year with TOP FLIGHT LACROSSE. He has experience working with Tri State Lacrosse, Middle Atlantic Lacrosse Camps, and spent time at Madison High School and Hanover Park High School as the assistant boys’ lacrosse coach.

TERRY REILLY (Ursinus ’05) Head Coach, Morris Hills High School

COLLEGE : Reilly was a Face-Off and Midfield specialist as a Four year Letter winner for the Bears, who participate in the competitive Centennial Conference. He was a member of the first ever Varsity team at Ursinus College .

COACHING: Reilly is currently the Head Coach at Morris Hills High School (Rockaway, NJ). Coach Reilly has coached a number of All-Conference and All-Division selections for the young program. Before starting the program at Morris Hills , Reilly coached with Patriot Lacrosse and at Ursinus Lacrosse Camps and Clinics.

Craig Fleischman

CRAIG FLEISCHMAN (Bucknell ’04)Assistant Coach, WEST MORRIS CENTRAL High School

Craig Fleishman has coached for the Green Wave for the last few seasons after two years as assistant men's lacrosse coach at Moravian College and one year as the top assistant and offensive coordinator at Drew University. During his time at Drew, Fleishman coordinated the implementation of offensive schemes and game plans, helped design and supervise off-season strength and conditioning workouts, completed scouting breakdowns and reports and managed a significant segment of the recruitment of student-athletes. A native of Wayne, NJ, Fleishman was an acclaimed prep player at Montclair Kimberley Academy. He helped lead MKA to 2 Prep B state titles and concluded his prep career as New Jersey's all time leading scorer. Fleishman earned a bachelor's degree in History with a minor in secondary education from Bucknell University in 2004. As a collegiate athlete, he was a four-year offensive contributor for the Bucknell Bison lacrosse team that won two Patriot league titles (2001 and 2003). He was also a three time member of the Patriot League academic honor roll. Craig gained additional coaching experience during the summers working at teaching camps at Johns Hopkins University, McDaniel College, Drew University and The Lawrenceville School.   

 
ANTHONY LUCCHETTO, JR. (Marist’ 99)
Assistant Coach, Wayne Hills High School

FACE-OFF SPECIALIST AND MIDFIELD INSTRUCTOR

COLLEGE: Coach Lucchetto was a four year letter winner and captain for the Red Foxes. A tough workhorse of a midfielder, Lucchetto finished his career in glorious fashion, finishing TOP 5 in Face offs Won and Face off Percentage and Top 10 in Groundballs for all of Division 1.

POST COLLEGIATE: Lucchetto remains active as a midfielder for the Tri State Lacrosse Club of the ALL, he has led the green and gold to four consecutive trips to the A.L.L. championship. Lucchetto has participated and won various Titles and Awards in Tournaments in Vail, Las Vegas, Miami, Lake Placid, the Jersey Shore, South Jersey, and Ocean City, Maryland.

COACHING: Lucchetto is currently the Assistant Coach at Wayne Hills High School, where helped lead the squad to their first New Jersey high school lacrosse state playoff game in only their second season as a varsity team. He has also had stops at Livingston and East Brunswick High Schools along his coaching career. He has experience working with various local camps, clinics and leagues.
